Aspen Aerogels Accepts New Venture Capital Funding

Northborough, Massachusetts  --  Nanotechnology company Aspen Aerogels has secured $21.5 million in new venture capital investment.

Aspen has created a variety of nanotechnology-based advanced materials for use in the oil and gas industry, building and construction and other industries.

BASF Ventures led the round, which also included Rockport Capital Partners, Tenaya Capital, Reservoir Capital Group, Arcapita Ventures and Argonaut Private Equity.
