ALung Closes Series A Venture Capital Round

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania  --  Medical device company ALung Technologies has announced the close of its first round of financing at $14 million.

ALung is developing gas exchange devices for the treatment of respiratory disorders.

Eagle Ventures led the round, which also included Birchmere Ventures.  The company said it would complete its clinical trial in Germany with the financing proceeds.
