New York Times Releases iPad Application

New York, New York  --  The New York Times announced the release of its news application for the Apple iPad platform.

Called the NYTimes App for iPad, it contains more than 25 sections of Times content, including videos, breaking news alerts and enhanced navigation capabilities.

The application is currently free, however the Times intends to launch its pay model next year and will charge for the application via that subscription.
