Ambit Biosciences Lands $15 Million Venture Capital

San Diego, California  --  Biopharmaceutical company Ambit Biosciences has secured $15 million in new venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Ambit is developing small molecule kinase inhibitors for the treatment of cancer.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the financing proceeds.
