Buddy Media Sees $23 Million Series C Funding

New York, New York  --  Internet software developer Buddy Media, has raised $23 million in its third round of venture capital funding.

Buddy Media develops applications for social media sites such as Facebook and MySpace.

Institutional Venture Partners led the round, which also included SoftBank Capital, Greycroft Partners and Bay Partners. The company said it would use the financing proceeds to add employees and fund other marketing initiatives.
