Community Energy Nets Series A Venture Capital

Radner, Pennsylvania  --  Solar energy company Community Energy has garnered $4 million in its first round of institutional venture capital investment.

Community Energy says that it wants to "develop the supply of fuel-free energy."

SJF Ventures led the round, which also included NGP Energy Technology Partners. The company said it would use the financing to develop solar energy products in various sections of the United States.
