IDEV Closes Series D Venture Capital Investment

Houston, Texas  --  Medical device company IDev Technologies has garnered $46 million in its fourth round of institutional venture capital funding.

IDev is creating next-generation medical device products for endovascular interventional use.

Investors in the round included Piper Jafray, PTV Sciences, Bay City Capital, Rivervest Venture Partners and Heron Capital.  The company said it would use the funding proceeds to finance the superficial femoral artery clinical trial for its new SUPERB stent.
