Buddy Media Adds $5 Million Strategic Venture Capital

New York, New York  --  Social media application developer Buddy Media has raised an additional $5 million in strategic venture capital.

Buddy Media develops applications for social media sites such as Facebook and MySpace.

Digital media agency WPP made the investment. The financing is an add-on to a previously announced $23 million series C round, raising the total third round funding to $28 million.
