DataPop Secures First Venture Capital Investment

Hollywood, California -- Digital media company DataPop has garnered $1.7 million in its first round of institutional venture capital funding.

DataPop enables marketers to turn their offers into more targeted and unique messages on a scalable basis.

Rincon Venture Partners led the round with venture capital firms IA Ventures, Momentum Venture Management and Accelerator Ventures also participating.

Proceeds purposes from the financing were not disclosed.
