AOL Launches Email Application Beta Test

Palo Alto, California  --  Consumer Web portal AOL announced the launch of the beta test of its new e-mail system.

Called Project Phoenix, the application allows users to quickly send e-mails, instant or text messages and even social network updates.

The full product will be released early in 2011, but interested users can sign up for a beta test version now.
