Aires Pharmaceuticals Nets $20 Million Venture Capital

   San Diego, California  --  Aires Pharmaceuticals has secured $20 million in its second round of institutional venture capital investment.

Aires is developing an inhaled drug to treat both adult and pediatric pulmonary hypertension.

Venture capital firm MPM Capital led the round, ProQuest Investments.  The company also entered into a partnership agreement with Novartis.
