Mobile Application Interest Building In Asia

   Singapore  --  Mobile application downloads in Asia will grow at a CAGR rate of 30% until 2015, according to a report published by ABI research.

Application downloads in the Asia-Pacific region are forecasted to reach 2.4 billion by 2013, with India and China expected to account for much of the application growth.

ABI research practice director Neil Strother said however, "With more applications being added daily, competition will be tough. Developers have to consider alternative business models such as in-app purchases and advertisements, to boost their profit margins and revenue."
