Quest Software Links Up With Microsoft Lync Server

   Aliso Viejo, California  --  Quest Software (NASDAQ: QSFT) has announced its support of the launch of Microsoft Lync Server 2010.

Quest is announcing the addition of usage and chargeback reporting statistics for the Microsoft Lync Server 2010 to Quest MessageStats.

The new capabilities will enable administrators and management to evaluate the ROI and total cost of ownership (TCO) of their company's various communication devices.

Quest has acquired a variety of venture capital firm-backed startups in recent years.  In the last three months alone, Quest has acquired BakBone Software for $55 million and Surgient for an undisclosed sum.
