Altius Education Adds Second Venture Capital Round

   San Francisco, California  --  Education IT company Altius Education has secured $18.6 million in its second round of institutional venture capital financing.

Altius creates online college programs for existing academic institutions to expand their offerings.

Venture capital firm Charles River Ventures led the round, which also included Spark Capital and Maveron.

The company said it would use the financing proceeds to expand the number of partnerships in its network.
