AwarePoint Records New Venture Capital Financing

   San Diego, California  --  RFID technology company AwarePoint has secured $3.3 million, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

AwarePoint provides technology for enterprise-wide real-time location systems for hospitals.

Investors in the financing were not specifically disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

AwarePoint is backed by Avalon Ventures, Cardinal Partners, Jafco Ventures and Venrock.
