Intersect ENT Lands $30 Million New Venture Capital

Palo Alto, California  --  Medical device company Intersect ENT (formerly Sinexus) has garnered $30 million in its third round of institutional venture capital funding.

Intersect ENT is developing new therapies for Ear, Nose & Throat surgeons.

Investors in the round included Medtronic, PTV Sciences, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and US Venture Partners. The company said it would use the funding proceeds to commercialize its first product and to build a portfolio of additional products.
