DICOM Grid Gets Series A Venture Capital

Phoenix, Arizona  --  Healthcare technology company DICOM Grid has raised $7.5 million in its first round of institutional venture capital financing.

DICOM has created a cloud-based medical imaging platform for healthcare facilities and physicians.

Canaan Partners led the round, with venture capital firm CHL Medical Partners also investing. The company said it would use the proceeds to accelerate its market expansion.
