Amicus Therapeutics Adds $31 Million Venture Capital

Cranbury, New Jersey  --  Biopharmaceutical company Amicus Therapeutics has raised $31.3 million in new venture capital investment according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Amicus is developing small molecule, orally-active pharmacological chaperones for the treatment of human genetic diseases.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the financing proceeds.
