Factual Has $25 Million First Venture Capital Round

   Santa Monica, California  --  Database infrastructure provider Factual has secured $25 million in its first round of institutional venture capital investment.

Factual offers a database as a service that allows users of all types to create structured data.

Andreessen Horowitz and Index Ventures led the round which also included SV Angel and others.

The company said it would use the financing to expand its data offerings and services.
