3VR Security Secures $17 Million VC Financing

   San Francisco, California  --  Data storage security company 3VR Security has garnered $17 million in a new round of institutional venture capital investment.

3VR provides what it calls "Intelligent Surveillance and Search" products and services to enterprise and government customers.

Menlo Ventures led the financing, which also included Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, DAG Ventures and Focus Ventures.

The company said it would use the financing to expand into global markets.
