Betterment Banks $3 Million Series A Financing

   New York, New York  --  Financial services website Betterment has secured $3 million in its first round of institutional venture capital firm investment.

Betterment provides a consumer Internet service that enables users to make better investment choices.

Bessemer Venture Partners led the round, which also included other undisclosed investors.

The company said it would use the funding to grow its internal team and develop new products.
