DocuSign Nets $27 Million Series C Venture Capital

   Seattle, Washington  --  Software development company DocuSign has garnered $27 million in its third round of institutional venture capital financing.

DocuSign has created technology that enables electronic signatures between parties over the Internet.

Scale Venture Partners led the round, which also included previous investors Ignition Partners, Frazier Technology Ventures and Sigma Partners.

The company said that the funding would be used to fuel its expansion.
