AMEE Revs Up With Series B Venture Capital

San Francisco, California  --  IT company AMEE has secured $5.5 million in its second round of institutional venture capital investment.

AMEE has created a business intelligence engine that helps government agencies, enterprises and SMEs measure emissions.

Amadeus Capital led the round, which also included O'Reilly AlphaTech Ventures and Union Square Ventures.  The company said that the funding proceeds would be used to "expand its geographic reach and enrich its scientific platform."
