Propel Fuels Revs Up With $12 Million Series C

Sacramento, California  --  Alternative energy technology company Propel Fuels has raised $12 million in its third round of institutional venture capital funding.

Propel as developed performance fuels that are cleaner than existing fuels and are compatible with diesel and FlexFuel vehicles.

Investors in the round included Craton Equity Partners, Nth Power and @Ventures.  The company said it would use the new financing to expand its California network.
