1BOG Secures Series A Venture Capital Investment

San Francisco, California  --  Internet company One Block off the Grid (1BOG) has garnered $5 million in its series A round of venture capital financing.

1BOG has developed an online resource to help homeowners determine whether or not solar energy is right for their home.

New Enterprise Associates made the investment.  The company said that the funding would support its national expansion strategy.
