ARC Energy Adds $5 Million Venture Capital Funding

San Francisco, California  --  Advanced material equipment maker ARC Energy as secured $5 million in a new round of venture capital investment.

ARC is developing "highly automated turnkey sapphire crystal growth and processing equipment."

General Catalyst Partners made the investment.  The company did not say how the funding proceeds would be used.
