NABsys Nabs $7 Million Venture Capital Investment

Providence, Rhode Island  --  Biotechnology sequencing company NABsys has garnered $7 million in its second round of venture capital funding.

NABsys says that its goal is to make whole genome DNA sequencing fast, inexpensive and accurate enough to be used for clinical diagnoses.

Stata Venture Partners led the funding round, which also includes other undisclosed investors.  Past investors included Point Judith Capital Partners and the Slater Technology Fund.
