Intel Launches Invest In America Alliance

Santa Clara, California  --  Semiconductor technology company Intel announced a $3.5 billion initiative to support investment in US-based technology companies.

Called the Invest in America Alliance, it represents a two-pronged effort.  The first prong includes a two-year, $3.5 billion effort between Intel and 24 leading venture capital firms to invest in US-based companies.

The second prong is commitments from 17 technology and other corporate leaders to increase their hiring of college graduates in the technology fields.
