DubMeNow Nets First Venture Capital Investment

Vienna, Virginia  --  Mobile technology company DubMeNow has garnered $2.8 million in a new round of venture capital financing.

DubMeNow says that it is developing "better ways to communicate, network, and exchange contact information - all from your mobile phone."

Syncom Ventures was the lead investor in the round, which included other undisclosed investors.  The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be used.
