Arkansas Becomes First State With Mobile Payments

Little Rock, Arkansas  --  The state government of Arkansas announced that it has become the first day to offer mobile payments for government services.

Part of the official website of the state, the mobile website of Arkansas.gov/m allows for secure payments for Pulaski County Property tax payments, inmate trust account deposits and probation and parole supervision and restitution payments.

The state said the platform is available for all smartphone systems, including iPhone, Google Android, Palm, Windows Mobile and Blackberry.
