Theraclone Sciences Raises New Venture Capital

Seattle, Washington  --  Biotechnology company Theraclone Sciences has secured $1.5 million in an early round of institutional venture capital funding.

Theraclone says that it is developing discovery stage therapeutic antibodies for the treatment of infectious diseases and inflammation.

Investors in the round were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
