Aerohive Networks Closes Series C Financing

Santa Clara, California  --  Wireless company Aerohive Networks has landed $23.5 million as its third round of institutional venture capital investment.

Aerohive says that it is creating the next generation enterprise wireless LAN architecture that eliminates wireless LAN controllers.

Investors in the round included Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Northern Light Venture Capital and Lightspeed Venture Partners.  The company said it would use the funding to expand its sales and marketing capabilities.
