Damballa Finalizes Series C Venture Capital Round

Atlanta, Georgia  --  Security technology company Damballa has closed out its third round of venture capital funding, receiving a total of $9 million.

Damballa says that it is focusing its efforts on combating an emerging and growing threat to the Internet - Bot Armies.

Palomar Ventures led the round, which also included InterWest Partners, Noro-Moseley Partners, Sigma Partners and other undisclosed investors.  The company did not say how it would use the funding proceeds.
