EdgeCast Raises $10 Million 3rd Venture Capital Round

EdgeCast Networks
has raised $10 million in its series C round of institutional venture capital investment.
EdgeCast provides a global content delivery service via its proprietary platform.
Menlo Ventures led the round, which also included Steamboat Ventures. The company said the funding proceeds would be used to develop new services and expand its sales and marketing efforts.
