The Trend Exchange Garners Regulatory Approval

Chicago, Illinois -- Media Derivatives has announced that it has obtained approval from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission as a designated contract market.
The company is launching TrendEx, an exchange that allows futures contracts for the trading of opening weekend domestic box office receipts for movies.
The launch is scheduled for the third quarter of 2010. TrendEx said it will consider other products offer beyond those of only the media industry, based on its initial results.
