iPad Launches With Thousands Of Applications

Cupertino, California  --  Computing technology company Apple launched its new tablet device and application market.

Called the iPad, the device is primarily a media consumption platform and does not include features such as an onboard camera.

Thousands of applications work on the device and hundreds of companies have already launched their applications that have been optimized for the iPad.
