Latimer Education Raises Venture Capital Investment

Latimer Education
has secured $1.25 million in a new round of private equity investment.
Latimer says that it is developing "an online university focused on African-American students."
Maveron LLC made the investment. The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be utilized.
