Booyah Bulks Up With $20 Million Venture Capital

Palo Alto, California  --  Digital media company Booyah has secured $20 million in a new round of institutional venture capital investment.

Booyah has developed an online GPS game that allows users to check in at real world locations to unlock rewards.

Accel Partners led the round, which also included previous investors iFund and DAG Ventures.  The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be used.
