Extension Announces Venture Capital Investment

New York, New York  --  Internet technology company Extension Entertainment has raised a new round of institutional venture capital funding, according to the company.

Extension has developed a Chrome plug-in that automatically indexes MP3 files that your browser sees, in order to build a music library for the user.

Spark Capital led the round, which also included Betaworks, Founder Collective and other investors.  The company did not say how the funding proceeds would be used.
