Mountain View, California -- A new nonprofit Institute announced its launch on the Google campus in Mountain View.
Called the Green Products Innovation Institute (GPII), the Institute will be based in San Francisco and is founded on the Cradle to Cradle (C2C) framework for recycling materials in a closed loop system.
The Institute will award C2C certification to manufacturers based on the five criteria of material health, material reutilization, renewable energy use, water stewardship and social responsibility. |
