Apellis Pharma Adds Venture Capital Financing

Louisville, Kentucky  --  Apellis Pharmaceuticals has secured $1.7 million in new venture capital investment according to a regulatory filing.

Apellis is a stealth mode company that is developing drugs focused on peptide drugs in the immunology space.

Investors in the round were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
