San Diego, California -- Biotechnology company MicroPhage has announced the launch of what it calls the world's first diagnostics platform for antibiotic testing and bacterial identification in five hours.
Called the MRSA/MSSA Blood Culture Test, the system requires no instrumentation and is comprised of two small reaction tubes for the blood culture specimen incubation.
After only five hours, the samples are added to a dipstick like detector, which indicates a positive or negative result. |
