Public Libraries To Offer Sony Downloadable Music

Fairfax, Virginia  --  Digital media company Library Ideas announced an agreement with Sony Music Entertainment to provide its network of Public Libraries with downloadable music.

According to the agreement, ten public libraries have agreed to the initial launch of the music service to registered cardholders joining the service through the local library website.

"The service will allow libraries to increase the size and diversity of library collections by offering access to hundreds of thousands of songs," said the company in its announcement.
