International Battery Nets $35 Million Venture Capital

Allentown, Pennsylvania -- Lithium-Ion battery manufacturer
International Battery
has secured $35 million for its third round of institutional venture capital investment.
International Battery says that it is a green technology company that provides environmentally friendly rechargeable lithium-ion cells and batteries.
Digital Power Capital led the round, which included other undisclosed investors. The company said that it would use the new investment to scale up its existing manufacturing plant.
