Castlight Health Raises $60 Million In Venture Capital

San Francisco, California  --  Healthcare IT company Castlight Health has garnered $60 million in its third round of institutional venture capital and private equity investment.

Castlight Health provides companies with a hosted software system that helps their employees understand their medical benefits and costs.

Maverick Capital led the round, which also included The Wellcome Trust, Morgan Stanley, US Venture Partners, the Cleveland Clinic, Oak Investment Partners and Venrock. The company said it would use the funding to accelerate its hiring and product development plans.
