FoldRx Pharmaceuticals Closes $29 Million VC Funding

FoldRx Pharmaceuticals
has garnered $29 million in a new round of institutional venture capital investment.
FoldRx is developing "disease modifying drug therapies for diseases of protein mis-folding and amyloidosis."
There were numerous investors in the round. The company said it would use the funding proceeds to continue advancing the development of its tafamidis product.
