GetJar Gets $11 Million Series B Venture Funding

San Mateo, California -- Mobile technology company
GetJar
has raised $11 million in a second round of institutional venture capital investment.
GetJar enables users to download all types of mobile applications via its cross platform application store.
Accel Partners made the investment. The company said it would invest the new money in building up its Android platform capabilities.
