Westborough, Massachusetts -- Lithium-ion battery maker Boston-Power has secured $60 million in new private equity and venture capital funding.
Boston-Power says that it is developing safer, longer lasting lithium-ion batteries.
Oak Investment Partners and Foundation Asset Management co-led the round, which also included past investors Gabriel Venture Partners and Venrock. The company said it would use the funding proceeds to expand into international markets, among other purposes. |
