AeroVironment Chosen For Electric Refueling Stations

Charleston, South Carolina  --  Plug In Carolina announced that it has selected AeroVironment to supply, install and support electric "refueling" stations.

Slated initially to be installed in seven South Carolina cities, the charging network will support a network of public electric vehicles and is funded by two state grants.

The network is expected to be operational by December 1, 2010 and will support a variety of electric vehicles via key refueling hubs in each city.
