BARRX Medical Closes $15 Million New Venture Capital

Sunnyvale, California  --  Medical device company BARRX Medical has raised $15 million in its fourth round of institutional venture capital investment.

BARRX is developing treatment solutions for Barrett's esophagus caused by gastroesophageal reflux disease.

Highland Capital Partners led the round, which also included Delphi Ventures, Alloy Ventures, Frazier Healthcare Ventures, Sutter Hill Ventures and Greenspring Associates.
